Mature businesses often do not look for new opportunities because the “owners” (YOU) have become comfortable with “it is what it is, nothing I can do about that”.  So year after year you become more deflated and less excited to go to work.  Your staff has become clock punchers, new ideas are “too hard” so opportunities are missed.
