Startup

You took the risk and mistakes made here can have lasting impacts years down the road. A big reason why 25% of businesses do not make their fifth birthday! Your key right now is being adaptable, learning, clear on your target and managing all the hats of a launched business.

Growth

You are generating revenue and taking on new customers consistently. The challenge now is your organization. Do you have the right people in the right seat, should you hire or not. You are so deep in firefighting mode that no one is running the business. Your role has changed!  Delegation, expectation setting, and leadership is now in the forefront.

Maturity/Exit

You now have stable profitability and have been comfortable with your size and growth. Businesses either are growing or dying. The choice you are faced with is grow, exit, or slowly have the company disappear. The business is likely your largest asset, what is your plan to cash out? Have you begun to think like a buyer?

Every journey begins with the First Step.
You are here.

Now challenge yourself to take your next step!

Meet Brad

I have always been curious about how things work, including people. From my first job bagging groceries through fortune 100 manufacturing companies, I have always been a go-to teammate, mentor, challenger, friend, and leader. I have been asked by numerous people-" how do you see the future.” I use the context around me and put the pieces of the puzzle together to see the gap and challenge the status quo with a purpose.  I am the only coach who has built a team to outsource nearly 1,000,000 man-hours, and built a PMO office in a 125-year-old company changing the culture for the better. And I am the only coach who has had worldwide supply and inventory and P&L accountability for the world's largest mobile earth-moving equipment.  In doing so, I have developed suppliers to do and become better. I focus on supporting the business owners to do what was right for their business.

April. The crack of the bat, the pop of the glove, and the scent of fresh-cut grass signal the return of America’s pastime—baseball. Every team, from the reigning World Series champs to the underdogs that finished last in their division, starts this month with the same thing: hope.

There’s something electric about March Madness. The buzzer-beaters. The Cinderella stories. The raw emotion of a 12-seed knocking off a powerhouse. It’s chaotic, passionate, and unrelenting—just like being a business owner or leader in today’s blue-collar world.

It might be frustrating, but the truth is this: the younger generations don’t think the same way as your older workers. They grew up differently and have a different set of lived experiences. So it’s not surprising that their way of working is different, too.

Let’s suppose you have a position open at your factory. How long has it gone unfilled? How much is that costing you? If you don’t know that number, you should. Those open positions are costing you a lot. I can hear you yelling, “We can’t find good people!” Stop it! The blue-collar world has said this since 2001. It was stupid then, and it’s stupid now.
